Partners Project LdV GATS- Gifted and Talented Students

The project Gifted and Talented Students - GATS was six different participant organizations from six countries (TR , PL , LT, GRE , DE, ES) contributed to the exchange of best practices in order to raise awareness of career guidance for GATS in vocational education and training. An existing project partnership has served the educational exchange between the European institutions.

The main objective of the project was to increase the attractiveness and effectiveness of existing counseling services for gifted and talented students at the primary level .

Specific objectives were:

- analysis and comparison of methods of teaching gifted and talented students

- drawing attention of schools and colleges on the possibility of preparing special programs

- assisting students in identifying and selecting a vocational training

- to encourage school leaders to draw up plans for the recruitment of talented students

- Develop a guidebook for teachers with guidance for use in individualized education programs,

- providing students, teachers, parents, guidance counselors online platform to provide information on career guidance

- training students in the development of soft skills, to better understand their personal and professional profile

- training of teachers and parents in the interactive methods in guidance.

During the project partners learned about the abilities and tendencies in the way of questionnaire survey and develop soft skills, which are among the most important professional skills. Draft woke current European interest for professionals and reinforced the new powers in the area of career guidance for gifted and talented students. the results of the project were introduced to teachers and parents - many have benefited directly or indirectly. through the organization of seminars for teachers and parents of the GATS , the project has contributed to raising awareness in this area. Implementation of the project made it possible to achieve the desired results and achieve benefits for partners the project.
