Social Economy

The project "The Katowice City Social Economy - supporting the social economy sector is implemented in July 2009 - June 2011, the Submeasure 7.2.2 Operational Program Human Capital - European Social Found in the Silesian Province by the Partnership, whose leader is GAUDETE FOUNDATION.

The aim of the project is to create a Center for Social Economy in Katowice providing support for the social economy.

Our ambition is a comprehensive, professional, continuing support for the sector by:

• individual counseling for those interested in activity in the social economy ? legislative matters, accounting, marketing and sales, organization and management both stationary and implemented by the Internet, and psychological support
• training for people intending to create a social cooperative - in the basics of company activities, acquisition of external elements of employment law, basic economics of business, foundations of law in the business and cooperative law and the law on social cooperatives,
• individual coaching incubated cooperatives ? care which lasts for half a year over social cooperatives that occurred during the project
• advice to operating entities of social economy - in the office of the project, through the Internet and in the place of business
• activities aimed at the establishment of local partnerships for the development of social economy - conferences, articles, workshops
• promotion of social economy and employment in the social economy
