Lifelong Guidance


The theme of the project is "Lifelong guidance as to retain older workers in employment?.
The project supports the objective of the program Leonardo da Vinci: Improving the quality and volume of cooperation between institutions or organizations providing learning opportunities, enterprises, social partners and other relevant subjects throughout Europe.
In the project realisation have been included organizations such as the Office of Labor and Welfare of the NAV Moss cultural and social Association of Barcelona, the organization of training in Malta, Department of Adult Education College in Dublin.

In the project realisation have been included organizations such as the Office of Labor and Welfare of the NAV Moss cultural and social Association of Barcelona, the organization of training in Malta, Department of Adult Education College in Dublin.
The project was carried out from 02.11.2008 to 31.10.2009.
Group of participants in the project were guidance counselors and trainers involved in vocational guidance.
The project responded to the needs of the participants to create incentives for extending working activity and to remove disadvantageous incentives which caused vocational passivity.
The project participants completed a 2 week exchange.
12 participants took 2 week exchange in the NAV (Norway), 12 participants held an exchange of Assocciacion Cultural Catalanopolonese (Spain), 12 participants held an exchange of Paragon Europe Malta. Currently 12 participants are preparing to exchange the BCFE (Ireland).
The result is a product which is to prepare ?A Model of Lifelong guidance in getting older workers?.
The model is disseminated as an innovative solution, which is the result of exchange in Norway, Spain, Malta and Ireland.
